Every person deals with fat pockets and loose skin that are especially difficult to eliminate from smaller areas of the face and body. Regular diet and exercise may help to make some progress, but these lifestyle habits may not be effective for spot reducing fat and skin laxity.
AccuTite™ is specially designed to remove stubborn fat and tighten loose skin in precise areas like the face, neck, arms, knees, back, and hands. This innovative system uses radiofrequency technology to quickly and non-surgically improve contours and rejuvenate small and delicate areas of the body.

A local anesthetic is applied to numb the target area. The anesthetic is used to ensure your comfort during the procedure.
Once the area is properly numbed, a probe, similar to a long needle, inserted into the skin. This probe will emit radiofrequency energy to an attached handheld device, called an electrode, that is placed on top of the target area.
Radiofrequency energy is delivered as the device is moved across the target area, which causes the temperature of the skin and fat to rise. The heat effectively breaks down the fat cells under the skin and stimulates the skin cells to produce collagen and tighten. The melted fat will be safely absorbed and eliminated by the body, but excess fat may be removed through small cannulas if needed.
AccuTite™ can tighten the skin and remove small pockets of fat, but patients must realize that it is not a weight loss surgery.
During your consultation, your surgeon will give you detailed instructions on how to prepare for your procedure. Sticking to those guidelines will help to ensure your safety and the success of your treatment.
Your consultation is one of the most important parts of your treatment process. During your consultation, Dr. Agullo will work with you to determine if you are a good candidate for AccuTite™ and come up with a plan for treatment. This will be your time to share all your goals and concerns as well as ask Dr. Agullo any questions you may have. You will be given detailed information about the procedure, financing options, and the next steps towards getting your treatment.
No. At the beginning of treatment, a local anesthetic will be used to numb the target area and ensure your comfort. There may be some mild discomfort following the procedure, but this should subside quickly and can be treated with pain medication.
The results from your AccuTite™ procedure should be visible immediately, and the results will continue to develop over the course of healing. After your treatment, the skin cells will continue to tighten and fatty tissue will continue to break down and be flushed out of your body. Your final results will be most visible after about six months.
AccuTite™ is a minimally invasive procedure, and so it does not require a large incision or extensive downtime. You may be given compression garments to promote the development of your contours. There will be some mild bruising and swelling, but pain can usually be handled with mild pain medication. All bruising and swelling should subside within one week. Most patients can resume regular activities after two days.
The cost of AccuTite™ varies based on the treatment area and the extent of correction. The price of your AccuTite™ treatment can be determined during your consultation. Dr. Agullo charges a consultation fee of $100, which is applied to the cost of your treatment. All fees must be paid in full prior to the scheduled treatment.
Yes. AccuTite™ has been cleared by the FDA for safe body contouring. AccuTite™ contains built-in technology that regulates temperature to ensure that there is no damage done to the skin. It can also monitor internal body temperature to ensure that it does not raise your temperature above a safe level while burning fat.
Yes. Most commonly, AccuTite™ is combined with fat grafting, fillers, radiofrequency microneedling (Morpheus8), or thread lifting. If you are interested in a combination of procedures, be sure to discuss this with your surgeon during your consultation. Your surgeon will advise you on whether you can undergo the desired treatments simultaneously or if it would be best to undergo them separately.
